Rejected petition For Lennox : We Demand A Public Enquiry
More details
We, the undersigned, demand a full public enquiry into the actions of Belfast City Council regarding the illegal seizure of the dog Lennox, the obvious corruption throughout the two years of his case, and now his murder. We demand proof that until his designated murder date and time of 7am this day of 11th July 2012, that he was not already dead at the hands of Belfast City Council. We demand to know why his family were not allowed to see him prior to nor after his murder. We demand answers, we demand action, we demand that this travesty never be allowed to happen again to any dog. We are the voice of the defenceless, you the Government are supposed to work for us, the people, we therefore demand you listen, and hold to account those involved.

Why was this petition rejected?
It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.
These are transferred matters and therefore the responsibility of the Northern Ireland Executive. It is also open to the public to consider if the Northern Ireland Ombudsman/Commissioner of Complaints might have a role in investigation of any reports of maladministration.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
