Closed More responsibility on Dog owners

If a dog attacks a child,Police can take action and have the dog destroyed.But if a dog attacks and kills another dog/animal,The police cannot do anything.
The law should be changed to protect other animals and further attacks happening .It could be a child next time.
Owners should be more responsible for their dogs.
Guide dogs are getting attacked and they cost thousands to train.They are too traumatised to work after these attacks.
Police should have more power to prosecute owners who fail to control their dogs that attack other animals.
