Retired Police Officers who have served long and hard for Queen and country should be recognised in their retirement by receiving the Queen Diamond Jubilee Medal.

Essential Support staff (back room staff) should also be awarded the Queens Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition of the role they play in supporting front line Officers to serve Queen and Country.
