Change the British Nationality Act to allow British subjects to renounce their European Union citizenship.
At present British citizens have no choice as to weather they are eu citizens or not.The only way that a British citizen can renounce their European Union citizenship is by renouncing their British citizenship.
The decision on the citizenship of a second state/country should be made by the affected individual and not the state.
