Murder victim’s families should have the right to walk in their local area without the fear of encountering the offender. Released murderers allowed back into the local community only serve to remind the victims family members that they, the family, are serving a life sentence whilst the perpetrator has the freedom to carry on his/her life as a free person, this cannot be right, the hurt and heartache this would cause would be unimaginable and a permanent reminder to all concerned of the brutal way their loved one was taken away from them in the most horrific circumstances.
