BERWICK Maternity Unit is to close because of a big fall in the number of babies being born there, Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has announced.

This means all Mums to be will have to travel at least 60 miles while in labour either in to Scotland or down the Dangerous A1 to the Wansbeck
Don't lose this service in Berwick Upon Tweed.
