We understand that station operators and train operators want to minimise waiting times to make for efficient throughput of people.

But when the volume of seating is tiny compared to the passenger numbers it seems silly not to provide a reasonable number of seats, particularly for expectant mothers and the elderly.

For example, Kings Cross - a new concourse with only minimal seating and for a very high number of departures.

Please provide additional seating to provide for the passenger needs rather than the architect's pretty drawings.
