Petition DO NOT Stop All Benefits For Drug Users

All persons claiming benefits should NOT be drug tested when they make their first claim or throughout their entire claim.

Claimants using cannabis, cocaine, heroine and all other drugs should receive medical advice about drug taking and addiction if they choose to receive it.

I understand that people believe Tax payer funded benefit payments should not be used for recreational drug taking or for supplying drugs to drug addicts but what exactly is the limit of control over how benefits should be spent?

Hypothetically should we restrict benefits to people who buy other things with their benefits that do nothing apart from satisfy desire? For example, confectionery, alcohol, music, toys, clothing accessories, holidays.
