Right now there is such a feel good factor and pride in being British and from Great Britain with the Olympics and jubilee celebrations

I purpose flying giant Union Jack flags from all major cities in Great Britain. The flag is to be the size of an Olympic size swimming pool so that it can be seen for a great distance.

I have seen them in Mexico this size and they are impressive. Time to recapture what it means to be British and celebrate with pride!
