Petition Award all the wonderful Games Makers

London 2012 was a resounding success, in no small part thanks to the wonderful Games Makers (Volunteers) and the military and police who kept the venues safe throughout.

In honour of the contribution they have made in creating the most successful Olympics ever, we, the undersigned, call on the Government to recognise their efforts, smiles and total selflessness that allowed the rest of the Country to attend, watch and enjoy the games.

We call for a medal to be awarded to each and every Games Maker, soldier and other volunteer as a National thank-you for their devotion and service over the past sixteen days.

We would like you, the government, to thank them on our behalf.
