We request the government re-evaluate their decision to grant the West Coast Mainline franchise to First Group.

Virgin Trains consistently come out top on customer satisfaction surveys, whereas First Group's lines are rated amongst the worst.

We are also worried by reports that First Group may have overbid for the franchise and thus potentially end up having to cut services, wages/benefits for staff, line improvements, and increase prices. This would be a disaster for the public.
