Rejected petition Reconsider Virgin Trains losing West Coast line franchise

After years of excellent service on this line (reliability, punctuality, staff service, on-board food and drink, station lounges) Virgin Trains are to be replaced from December 2012 by First, a company that cannot run its existing services to the level of Virgin Trains let alone take on new commitments. And all this to last until 2026. Did anyone ask the people who use this service?
