Rejected petition Allow Virgin Trains to keep the West Coast franchise

This is a petition to overturn the poor decision to grant the West Coast franchise to First as opposed to Virgin Rail after their excellent operation of the franchise over the past 15 years, especially given Firstgroup's poor running of bus, rail and tram services in the past and the present day.
We urge the DfT to allow Virgin Rail to keep this excellent franchise and to continue their improvements to the line.
