There should be a public inquiry into the disgraceful discision by the department for transport not to award Virgin the new contract to run the west coast mainline service. First Group have been awarded the contract instead dispite having a poor customer satisfaction record & leaving vertually no competition in the industry this being detrimental for passengers inevatably leading to higher fares & a poorer service.
