This is to make housing benefit claimants to look after the home that they rent - example. If the housing benefit claimants do not keep the property in a good state of repair and damage the property they must either repair this or benefits will stop. This would cut down on Landlords being left with huge bills and bring the stand of decent homes upwards in England.
