After the banking debacle of late, some banking chiefs and the treasury select committee are blaming it on free banking! They are pressing the government to allow charging for current accounts, £15 a month has been mentioned. Is government really going to agree to the hard pressed tax-payer being charged for something else now? Sign my petition to urge the government to do the right thing by blocking these charges.
