Closed petition Bank of England and Government need to explain what you are doing.

Closed on

The bank of England have said the following.

"By pushing up a range of asset prices, asset purchases have boosted the value of households' financial wealth held outside pension funds, although holdings are heavily skewed, with the top 5% of households holding 40% of these assets,"

The government and the BoE need to explain to country exactly why they are giving money to the banks and directly helping the least needy while cutting everything they can from the most. This is disgusting, not that the country did not know this already but now it's been admitted the PM needs to explain this immediately! It might help if George Osbourne also explained what is going on but I doubt he will bother.
