Rejected petition Stop the speed on Rochester Avenue
More details
Petitioning for the addition of speed cameras on Rochester Avenue. This is a residential street used as a high speed cut through. The street is made up of families and elderly and disabled residents who are feeling terrified for their safety as people regularly drive down this narrow road at speeds in excess of 50mph throughout the day. Previous requests for help on this matter have fallen on deaf, uncaring ears.
This petition was rejected
Why was this petition rejected?
It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.
The petition does not state where in the country Rochester Avenue is (a brief look at Google shows that there are at least a dozen Rochester Avenues in the UK). However, whichever one you are concerned with, it would be for the relevant local authority to address this issue.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
