Rejected petition To ensure Doctors and Consultants work 24/7 and not 9-3pm Mon to Friday

I feel that Doctors and Consultants should work 24/7 and NOT Mon to Fri 9am til 3pm( plus Bank Holidays)
as trying to get care over a weekend or holiday period is unacceptable- do we have to wait to die before Monday comes around? Surely they are paid by US to support US and that means working a proper shift- whether it's night shift, split shift or whatever to care for the Public and NOT to suit their social diaries
