Competent Retained and Part-time Fire-Fighters do not have transfer rights to Full Time Fire-Fighter positions and must apply for positions as Trainees no matter qualifications or experience.

Retained and Part-time Fire-Fighters receive the same training, attend the same incidents, work within the same community and take the same risks as their Full-time counterparts.

Give Retained and Part-time Fire-Fighters transfer rights to Full-time jobs without the need to re-do basic training in-line with Full-time Fire-Fighters.

A Fire-Fighter is a Fire-Fighter no matter what Duty System they work.
