Petition Save Mersey Ferries
More details
The Mersey Ferries have seen over recent decades an annual losses in its profits with a £1 million Annual loss over the last 12 months. This is mainly because of competition from rail and the construction of the second Mersey road tunnel in 1971. There is now new proposals to build a new Mersey Bridge called the Mersey Gateway.
The Government should hold an inquiry into the affects of the Mersey Ferries and what could be possible done, to save them.
