Petition 4x4 Licence

Drivers of Range Rover style 4x4's should be required to to apply for an operators licence to operate such vehicles. Licences should be issued on merit of whether the driver is in such a position where they would need it in terms of their work or similar, for example farmers.

Applicants would need to show good reason for driving a 4x4 in a similar way to the process of issuing firearms.

The 4x4's should be fitted with tracking devise's in order not to prevent but limit the use of them within a town or urban area, and should be restricted from use within a certain distance of local school's.
