Penalties already exist for companies such as call centres that do not keep up to date their copy of subscribers to the Telephone Preference Service, or ignore the list of subscribers and cold call them anyway. The complaints process is convoluted and cannot be enforced by the TPS and is not enforced by OFCOM.
Provide a direct channel of complaint that will result in a fine for the offending callers, i.e. enforce the current legislation!
