The SIA was introduced in 2003, It as provided legislation and licencing of 1000's of Security Personnel.
The Security Dog Sector of the Security Industry as been forgotten and left behind,its one of a very few sectors that carry's high risks to both Officer and general public. Its un-regulated apart from an SIA badge and as many incompetent, untrained, un-insured, personnel. We want the government to bring some sort of conformity to the sector reducing the amount of untrained and unwanted participants, improving standards and Rates of pay for the committed few.
