Rejected petition Post Olympic awards and honours

Not to denigrate in any way the efforts of our Olympians, but I feel it wrong for them to have any expectation of an Honour, other than their Olympic medals. The government has confirmed a separate honours list for Olympians, while our active service men and women who are this countries real heroes dont have a chance of getting an honour at even the lowest level, never mind have their own list.
Let's remember who are our countries real heroes and recognise and reward them as such, they have earned it many times over.
