Petition building on garden land

We welcome the governments current inititive in increasing opportunities to build our way out of recession, by reform of the current planning system,
and ask if building on garden land is really that bad?
garden land is not green belt land but part of the household and many infill sites are being lost to the current plans to stop building on gardens,
I ask if it is possable to lift restrictions on building on garden land and to endorse small projects inline with the improvements in the current planning reform
