The annual auditors have refused to approve the European Community accounts for the last 12 or 13 years. This indicates that the auditors have serious doubts about the accuracy of the accounts and the strong possibility of fraud or misuse of funds. No sensible person would continue to contribute funds to a business which behaved in this way, so why does the UK?
