Electronic cigarettes are becoming more popular by the day as a "healthier" alternative to smoking.

There needs to be more scientific research into the safety of using these e-cigs.

If they turn out to be safe then millions of lives could be saved by offering them on the NHS.

If they turn out to be unsafe then hundreds of thousands of current users are unwittingly killing themselves.

Either way we need to know and very soon!
