It is clear that Mitt Romney's views on US Foreign policy would place any nation allied with the US at significant risk.

Should Mitt Romney be elected as President in the US it would be unrealistic for the United Kingdom to continue with shared military strategies and common defence policy.

The only sensible solution would be to withdraw from NATO and seek new alliances with less dangerous and more compatible nations.

Whilst we appreciate the close ties with our US allies; and whilst we accept the United States citizens right to democratically choose their own leadership; it would be unrealistic for the United Kingdom to remain allied to the United States should they make the disastrous error of electing Mitt Romney.
