Rejected petition Stop bicycle riders on pavements

Adults riding their bicycles, sometimes at speed on the pavement are both hazardous and disconcerting to pedestrians particularly older and disabled people.
Having experienced been hit more than once in my local town which does have cycle paths.
Pavements should be for pedestrians whilst roads and cycle paths are both available for bicycle users.
