Rejected petition Compulsory cycle helmets for ALL cyclists

Given the number of serious,and sometimes fatal,injuries to cyclists i personally think it is time to introduce the compulsory wearing of cycle helmets by ALL cyclists.It is a fact that seat belts save lives so surely cycle helmets have the ability to do the same.Too many cyclists are seriously injured on our roads or killed,we have the power to put an end to this carnage,let's start now.
