Rejected petition Road Cyclists Sould take Theory test and have insurance

I am tired of cyclists abusing the road system by going through red lights, mounting pavements to avoid traffic lights, not signalling nor having basic knowledge of the road or any respect for motor vehicles.

If a cyclist hits a vehicle or gets run over by not understanding the road, what happens? i can't claim of them for the damage etc so most driver a frightening/nervous when there around them.

I propose that any cyclist that uses the public road to commute to work or for leisure should take a cyclist theory test and be insured and have a to purchase an annual licence

It would bring extra revenue in for the government and safe guard drivers and cyclists
