Rejected petition Upgrade farms to Hydroponic farms

Importing vegetables and fruits is not sustainable and causes these problems:
- Unemployment
- Economy suffers
- Dependence on imports

For those not acquainted with hydroponics these are the advantages:
- 10 times more production
- Crops grow 25% faster
- Crops grow bigger and better
- Very reliable, does not need soil or depend on weather, sunlight or pest/plague control
- Cheaper to maintain

Call for a Government plan to make this happen:

1. Define a standard hydroponic farm design based on efficiency / cost per square meter

2. Proactively make sure that 99% of the farmers in the country will receive a study about the production costs per square meter of each type of vegetable and fruit compared to those of traditional farming

3. Provide low-cost workshops for 99% of the farmers: how to build and maintain an hydroponic farm

4. Provide means to upgrade existing farms to hydroponic/aquaponics farms through volunteer unemployed workers, low cost loans, etc.
