Rejected petition Bring in the Death Penalty where the victims are Children or Police Officers

Please,you must bring back the death penalty where the victims are Children or Police Officers.
Currently those convicted of these offences are left to languish in the Jail System for 12 to 20 years at the cost to the British people.
Todays technoligy, ie DNA,greatly reduces the lilkliy hood of an innocent person being found guilty.
