It should be made compulsory for all new housing developments to have fast broadband installed.

New housing estates currently suffer the slowest internet speeds as cable is not installed during building.

As the government is trying to increase the national speed of the internet, inclusion of cable broadband in new builds will be a cheaper alternative to digging up the streets later to install faster broadband.
