I, the undersigned, call upon Her Majesty's Government to ensure that the legal definition of the powers of elected Police and Crime Commissioners (PCC) expressly rules out the exercise of any form of influence over their associated Police Service in regard of any matter in which a member; officer; elected local, regional, national or supranational representative; donor; peer or employee of their own political party (if they have one) has come to the attention of, or is under investigation by, that Police Service.
