Rejected petition Removal of Sir Irving Patnick's Knighthood

We the undersigned request that Sir Irvine Patnick be stripped of his Knighthood.
Following the findings of the Hillsborough Independent Panel we request that the Honours Forfeiture Committee recommend to the Prime Minister that Sir Irvine Patnick be so stripped for his role in the Hillsborough Disaster cover up.
The Independent Panel confirmed that he contributed to a vicious smear campaign in an attempt to deflect blame onto the 96 deceased, their families and survivors resulting in them and the people of Liverpool, being vilified, stigmatised and tarnished for 23 years. His actions brought the honours system into disrepute and his Knighthood should be removed immediately.
