I urge the British Government and the international community to call upon both Syria and Israel to uphold the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child namely Article 2 (Non-discrimination),
Article 3 (Best interests of the child),
Article 4 (Protection of Rights)
Article 6 (Survival and developement)
Article 24 (Health)
Furthermore I call upon the British Government and the international community to ensure that Israel,as the Occupying Power,complies with its obligations to respect and protect the Rights of the Child as set out in the UN Convention.
