Closed petition Review training providers for providers of Energy Performance in Buildings Directive Services
Closed on
There is widespread anecdotal evidence that there are too many providers of training for Energy Performance in Buildings Directive Services (for those wishing to supply EPC's to Domestic & Commercial Clients) and the lack of regulation on numbers of clients they have provided training to and questionable quality of some of the qualifications/monitoring proceedures has led to an oversupply of assessors to the marketplace driving down the value and quality of services provided. This has led to a loss of credibility to the services provided and many individuals wasting money on often useless training under false pretences. This petition calls upon DCLG to formally review the sector in order to avoid replicating such mistakes in the rollout of the FIT/RHI assessments, Green Deal, Smart Meter installation etc...
