Petition stop bsl and spend the money on education for breeders and dog owners/prospective dog owners and a licensing system

Stop the expensive and destructive system that is breed specific legislation, use the money saved to bring back the dog license, to educate dog owners/prospective dog owners and bring in tighter rules for breeders ie licensing and inspection, a registration system for dogs and laws along side this so sensible and considerate owners of "dangerous breeds" and their pets are no longer punished for the mistakes made by bad owners who were obviously not suitable to own the dogs in the first place. The system of bsl in place at the moment clearly isn't working and is not beneficial to either the owners of dogs, the dogs themselves or the government, it hasn't stopped or even lessened the number of dog related injury or fatality and more and more innocent owners are having their family members taken and killed for their dogs appearance, it needs to stop, please take note and sign to help save any more animals being killed for how they look
