Petition HMG welfare-to-work schemes DO NOT FIND WORK for the unemployed. Such schemes should be required to actively place clients on already allocated jobs

What welfare-to-work schemes do is to provide a CV service, internet, access, telephone, coffee. If a long term unemployed person found a job on his or her own accord (or stated that they had) BY SERENDIPITY these job welfare-to-work organisations get undeserved payment.

It would be better if job welfare-to-work schemes find jobs for the client, with some jobs ALREADY allocated to the job welfare-to-work schemes so as to enable the long term unemployed get experience, training, work references, etc.

Some HMG public service activities & other reputable organisations can be staffed by unemployed volunteers, which can help the unemployed.

HMG is a large employer & should welcome volunteers on their public service, activities like library & museum service, teaching, community support officer, gardening, building & road maintenance, healthcare support assistant, domestic, banking, aspects of civil service, factory work, etc, etc.
