The nutritional content of food is important for citizen’s who suffer from diabetes, high blood pressure, liver problems and on dialysis. The nutritional content displayed on food labels is inadequate, does not provide full mineral content such as potassium and phosphorous measurements etc.

Request Food Standards Agency
a) Modernise how food nutritional content is made available on FSA website, provide alternative solution to excel spreadsheet, so it can be easily used by UK citizen’s, such as browser solution as used on USA and Canadian Food Standards websites.
b) Nutritional Content Data should also be downloadable for use on tablets and PC's.
c) Downloadable data should be easily usable by software programmers who write applications for tablets and PC's.

Parliament make it a legal requirement that food producers provide full nutritional contents/chemical analysis of there food products to the Food Standards Agency for inclusion in there database.
