While most fireworks have a visible impact that communities enjoy the banger has no visible impact. The banger only serves one purpose which is to shock and scare, in particular this impacts on animals and small children. I would therefore ask that the Northern Ireland Office, as part of the regulation of fireworks excludes the banger and makes its use illegal.
