At present disabled and elderly social housing tenants are denied the right to buy their rented homes. They should have equal rights with any other tenant and not be discriminated against. Private tenants and homeowners are not stopped from owning or selling housing which gas been adapted with disabled facilities grants and the same should be true of social tenants.
