In our increasingly secular society it is hard to see why our taxes should be used to help fund empty churches/mosques/synagogues etc..
We’re all paying for the special privileges afforded to religion, which is based on faith and not evidence. Your taxes and mine have to be higher to make up the revenue shortfall that the government isn’t taking in because these huge, wealthy organisations don’t pay their own way.
