Closed petition full housing benefit for the disabled,poor and vulnerable

to stop part of the housing benefit being taken away from the disabled, poor and sick just because they live in a property with spare rooms.
this is not the fault of the people living in the property who may have lived there with family members for many years. it is not their fault that their is reduced housing stock this is the fault of the government and the councils miss management. surely building more council houses would help this situation. the government get money for the sale of council homes so why not use this to help build more. i wonder how many lives are going to be destroyed by this bedroom poll tax! you wont tax the rich for their properties but its OK to tax the people who need support to get through life and have no chance of improving their situation
