Closed petition NHS - treatment for Health Tourists
Closed on
The government needs to intervene to stop NHS bosses allowing free NHS care being given to 'health tourists' ie asylum seekers, students, illegal immigrants.
NHS care should only be given to those who have paid NI contributions and their dependents, or UK nationals/citizens.
On entering the UK ' the above groups should be asked to provide proof of private medical care along with their passport. Or be advised that if they present for treatment on the NHS they will be asked to pay for it before they are treated, no money no treatment! - as Brits are when they travel worldwide. Come on Mr Cameron don't drag your feet on this one.
