There are recent reports that the chairman of the Commons Select Committee on Energy has 'significant personal stakes in the power industry', as does the chairman of the government Climate Change Committee. These are obviously conflicts of interest which work in direct detriment to the benefit of the UK taxpayer and these two people should immediately be barred from ANY involvement with setting government wind and solar energy policy.
