There are currently no required eyesight or physical checks to renew your driving licence. Even at 70 the renewal is by self-certification.

What we would like to see:
* An Opticians Certificate to renew your Licence (modern licences are renewed every 10 years)
* A Qualified Medical Check for those aged 70+ to renew their licence.
* A minimum of 2 hours Driving Assessment every 10 years required to retain a licence.
* A Qualified Driving Assessment for those aged 70+ to renew their licence.
