There should be a standard document that solicitors approve. The document should be fair to both parties and should address the needs of any children. Both parties should be able to keep property, savings and businesses that were acquired before the wedding. The document should be allowed to be signed after a wedding for people who are already married. I want the government to make it a legal rule that this document can be approved by a court in the event of divorce.
